this past weekend i did a bit of knitting, but mostly getting christmas gifts together. i usually enjoy doing this, but this year i feel like i don’t have any time. two days is too short of a weekend! the past few years we have been in the caribbean and pretty much jobless (other than the occasional bartending/waitressing), so we had a little more free time to make and send gifts. and we are usually on an island where there isn’t a ton of options, crazy traffic and icy, slow roads. the problem is – most of my gifts have to be sent, so i have to get my shopping done now – and we have huge families so there are lots of gifts to think about. hopefully i will be done by this weekend!
