so last night we were watching “cocktail.”
yes, that cheesy 80′s movie with tom cruise (i swear he wears white pants in almost every scene) as a super bartender.
there is a part where he and his love interest are walking along a beach and they are being all optimistic and talking about the future – though they have know each other for about a day…
and she or he says, “we can thatch together grass skirts and sell them.”
the other says, “thatch one, purl two.”
buku and i turned to each other and just started cracking up.
buku: “only like 10 people would get that joke.”
and then i had to point out that he was one of them….
